Photogrammetry software Photomodeler has released a workflow guide for Rhino 3D, demonstrating how the two software packages complement each other.
Photomodeler, developed by Vancouver-headquartered Eos Systems, is designed to provide accurate 3D models and measurement across the industries of fabrication and manufacturing, forensics, engineering, architecture and surveying, mining, UAV scanning and more.
Rhino 3D is a NURBS-curve-based commercial 3D modeller and CAD solution used primarily in architecture and industrial design.
By exporting Photomodeler projects as Rhino 3dm files, Photomodeler says Rhino tools can be used to augment photogrammetric models for architectural design, renovation, CNC machining.
In addition to the brief guide, Photomodler produced a video covering seven key tips for using the software solutions together.
